OZONE

Ozone is three bonded oxygen molecules.  Depending on where it is in the atmosphere it can harm or protect life.  At surface level it causes respiratory problems in animals including humans.  In the troposphere it acts as a green house gas and elands to climate change.  In the Ozone layer it protects life by helping to defer UV rays.

In the radiation spectrum Ultra Violet is more intense than the visible spectrum.  A few well known   radiation sources from least harmful to most harmful (defined by the wavelength of the wave) is infrared red, visible spectrum of light ( red orange yellow green blue indigo and violet), ultra violet, microwave, gamma

When we use less virgin material from the earth the less trees that have to be cut down or the less earth that has to be mined (which reduces pollution).
