D) WORK EXPERIENCE:
1) Contractor -- Various Lawyers and lastly at WikiMedia (Wikipedia) and currently at OneLogin: Oct. 2010 -- Current For OneLogin (a cloud based Single Sign-on SAAS company) I am leading all their digital user acquisition channels as their Online Marketing Manager. In the few months I have been there I have reduced their spend while increasing their number of trial customers by up to 300%. This is mainly done through AdWords, SEO, and wiki building, but I am also preforming marketing via AdCenter PPC, independent web site CPM banners, social media ads, and email.
I revitalized WikiMedia's AdWords campaign. I have added tens of thousands of keywords, increased their CTR by hundreds of percentage points, increased their clicks by many thousands of percentage points, and I also put them into compliance for the Google GrantsPro grant.
For the various lawyers I have done everything from updating a website, to helping with off line marketing, to setting up mobile advertising.
2) OnlineSparker, Inc. and CoolVeg Incorporated - 2006 - 2010
At OnlineSparker, I designed websites and also provided online advertising / marketing for lawyers. I also led a team to develop a tool to data mine a Yahoo tool which allowed us to provide PPC for cheaper. At CoolVeg which I started around the same time I was at OnlineSparker, I did everything from environmental and vegetarian research to web design to implementing advertising and affiliate programs.
3) Speck Product Design - 2005
I performed tasks to help develop, design, or release products. This includes figuring out what customers wanted and needed. In addition, because the company runs on client orders, I made documents for the customer and interacted with the customer to fulfill their design needs.
4) NASA AMES Research Center - Summer 2003
I began to redesign the subject interface for NASA's Human Powered Centrifuge; this included creating a possible basic design, CAD, and performing initial calculations. I also assisted in helping my group conform to the Reliability Centered Maintenance program, and in choosing components for various projects.
